Members of Malawi’s Parliamentary Women’s Caucus attended a Study Visit in Scotland, where they participated in workshops, and attended fringe meetings at the SNP Annual National Conference.
Hon.Liana Chapota and Hon. Lonnie Chijere Phiri, served as panelists at a fringe event at the SNP Annual Conference. The panel discussion was centered on ‘Empowering women in politics: what Scotland& Malawi can learn from each other’.
Members of the Parliamentary Women’s Caucus engaged in a workshop led by @AnneMcLaughlin and Councillor Graham Campbell, where they practiced the ‘elevator pitch’ of what their political legacy should be.
Members of Malawi’s Parliamentary Women’s Caucus also met with Chris Law MP, Ben MacPherson MSP, and held discussion with Councillor Chris Cunningham in Glasgow City Chambers.
